OUR STORY AND DESIGNS

Flow was created to show the effect of actions on Country. A reminder that actions have an ongoing effect that you may or may not see. A reminder to take care of one another and our beautiful Nara (country) represented by the line work of dots in each corner. And of course the wildlife which is represented with the animal footprints of the Possum (Guragura), the Kangaroo (Baragarang) and the Emu (Birabyin). There is a meeting place (the middle) surrounded by large U shapes representing elders/parents/grandparents/teachers, the people who guide you and teach you. They are guiding and passing on knowledge to the smaller U shape (the kids). There are line works coming out from the centre meeting place representing the children’s future journey lines. They flow through life with the knowledge and guidance passed down to them. May we all have flow in our lives Nangamay x
